Pavement
​
A concert poster demonstrates the character of the band while providing vital information. Pavement is an indie rock band from the suburbs of California. They were on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. I wanted to capture the essence of the band, so I followed their lead. I included the rough style of the music and spirit of the band members. The composition is pieced together by the elements of the suburb, the band life, and Pavement's style. This project allowed me to step out of my style and comfort zone to create an authentic piece.
