Sunburst
The fractal pattern utilizes the rotation tool and shape builder tool in order to create an intricate design that resembles a flower. The spiral arrangement is mean to imply an endless sensation. The color scheme is similar to sunset over a river or a small flower on the shore. I created an image resembling a fractal with a more simplistic approach.

Penguin March
Tessellations are images connected to form a whole pattern. The birds connect through their wings and feet. I wanted to make the pattern fun, so I made the penguins a blue-green color. The pattern could be applied to any surface.

The surface pattern was inspired by intricate Islamic patterns. The design began with a geometric shape that was rotated and multiplied to form a mesmerizing pattern.
