The Future of Technical Communication Journal Cover

I created a journal cover for the Society for Technical Communication. My idea was based on the fact that the future is unknown. The image emphasizes the keys points of technical communication. Networks of people or languages combined with the technology created by the same people bring us into the future. I view blue as the color of progress and renewal. The computer keys connect together as a network and the vortex in the sky symbolizes the unknown future. Information can be communicated with the most basic shapes or words.
